A few things you may be wondering.
Do my pieces need to be in good condition?
No. We consider solid gold jewellery even if it is broken, mismatched, or no longer wearable. Gold content is what the valuation starts with.
What if I don’t know the karat or weight?
Choose “I’m not sure” in the appointment form and leave the optional weight blank. Purity and weight can be assessed in person.
Is the calculator a guaranteed payout?
No. The reference gold price and offered percentage are editable assumptions. The calculation is indicative; the final offer follows an in-person assessment.
Are stones included in the estimate?
No. The calculator estimates gold value only. Stones, clasps made from other metals, and other non-gold parts must be excluded from the gold weight.
Does requesting an appointment mean I have to sell?
No. It only asks us to contact you to arrange a visit. You decide whether to accept an offer after it has been explained.
How is payment arranged?
Cash is available for purchases up to CAD $50,000. For larger amounts, payment arrangements must be confirmed in advance.
How do the weight tiers work?
90% · Under 50 g. 92% · 50 g and above. The tier uses the combined weight of your gold items, excluding stones and non-gold parts. It applies to all rows in this estimate. Purity is applied separately to each karat.
